Celeste Peake is a light lyric soprano that specializes in operetta and golden-age musical theater and is based in Chicago, IL.
Celeste received the bulk of her training in the vocal program at Central Michigan University and at Interlochen Arts Academy.
Celeste appeared as a resident soprano for two seasons at the prestigious College Light Opera Company, in Cape Cod, MA. She was most recently seen as a fairy in Iolanthe with the Gilbert and Sullivan Opera Company in Hyde Park, Chicago.
Celeste’s favorite role to perform is the hilariously dramatic Rosa Bud in the interactive show, The Mystery of Edwin Drood. Some of her other favorite productions have been She Loves Me, The Most Happy Fella, How to Succeed in Business (Without Really Trying), Lady Be Good, and Les Miserables. While not performing, you can catch her at local Chicago cultural hot-spots like the Art Institute, Shedd Aquarium, or the Field Museum.
